Knee Pain Coaching in Berkhamsted & Online
Move Better. Build Strength. Reduce Pain.
Knee pain can significantly limit day-to-day movement and restrict your ability to take part in the activities and sports you enjoy. For many women, knee discomfort isn’t simply about a “weak knee,” but rather how load is being absorbed and transferred through the body during everyday movement and exercise.

Knee pain isn't just about the knee
Rather than relying on generic knee pain exercises such as endless glute bridges or crab walks, SOMA focuses on how you move. Knee pain is often linked to excessive joint stress and overload driven by biomechanics and movement patterns—such as limited hip or ankle mobility, poor pelvic or trunk control, altered foot mechanics, or inefficient movement strategies developed over time.
At SOMA, knee rehabilitation looks beyond the knee itself. After a detailed consultation and movement assessment, we identify the underlying factors contributing to your discomfort and design a targeted strength and mobility programme to address them. This may include improving joint range of motion, restoring balanced strength, enhancing movement coordination, and gradually rebuilding your capacity to tolerate load with confidence.
With thoughtful, progressive training, knee pain does not have to hold you back. Our aim is to help you move more freely, return to the activities you love, and feel confident in your body again—without fear of flare-ups or setbacks.

1-1 Private Coaching
Best for you if:
you want hands-on coaching in the room, with real-time cueing and adjustments
you prefer to focus on what happens during sessions, rather than ongoing reflection between them
you train best with live structure and accountability
you want a flexible, rolling monthly option without a long-term commitment
This is ideal if you want your progress driven primarily by regular coached sessions.
6-Month Movement Mentorship
Best for you if:
you’re ready for a defined, longer-term process, not just sessions
pain or movement challenges have been present for a long time
you want to build understanding, confidence, and capacity, not simply follow exercises
you value continuity, interpretation, and support between sessions, week to week
This is ideal if you want your progress supported across your whole month — not just when you train together.
